True Expects 6% Revenue Growth for 2011

Bangkok, Dec 6, 2010 (IRG) - True Corp. PCL expects to generate revenue growth of 5-6 percent next year, driven by its broadband, mobile and pay television businesses. In particular, the company forecasts a 15 percent revenue boost in its broadband business next year; as well as its mobile business, should there be progress on the granting of third generation licenses, according to Chief Executive Supachai Chearavanont.

The company will invest THB10 billion ($331 million) over the next three years to expand its broadband Internet business as its unit True Move plans to invest THB3 billion ($99.3 million) to THB4 billion ($132 million) annually in the existing second generation mobile business. Investment in the mobile business could increase to THB8 billion ($265 million) to THB10 billion ($331 million) per year if the company gets a license to offer 3G services.
