Coutts sponsors BBC World News series

Private bank Coutts is sponsoring BBC World News' newly-commissioned six-part series Changing Fortunes, which challenges the assumptions of wealth patterns in the early 21^st century.

Produced by Films of Record and Duke & Earl, the series premieres on February 2, 2013.

The new series looks at the new generation of wealthy men and women that have emerged over the last two decades and how events such as the fall of the Soviet Union and the opening of China have brought vast new markets to the global economy.

The show follows innovators, entrepreneurs and business success stories from the US, Brazil, Europe, Africa, India and China, with each episode focusing on individuals sharing their success stories.

Among those featured in the show include a Nigerian entrepreneur heading one of Africa’s largest energy companies to the chief executive of a leading US cosmetics company.
