January 18, 2016, Singapore – FOX Sports Asia has increased its commitment to bringing viewers the best possible
access to the world’s top sporting events by making all 411 matches available LIVE on its network for the Australian
Open, the first Grand Slam event of 2016, to tennis fans in Asia*. FOX Sports’ coverage will exceed 200 hours of
LIVE in-studio production from Singapore with all matches being shown LIVE across its flagship FOX Sports and
FOX Sports 2 channels, as well as on-the-go on the FOX Sports Play app and on online on foxsportsasia.com.
Tennis fans will be able to catch multiple matches in a variety of camera angles with the seamless addition of the
FOX Sports Play offering a seamless experience and unprecedented access across platforms.
FOX Sports’ LIVE broadcast will also be complemented by studio shows, helmed by their resident tennis presenter,
Jason de la Peña, along with pundits that include former World Number 9, Paradorn Schrichipan, current professional
and Asian Games Gold Medallist, Danai Udomchoke, Singapore’s No. 1 women’s tennis player, Stefanie Tan and
Malaysia’s No. 1 men’s tennis player, Adam Jaya.
The team on-site at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne include Marion Bartoli, the 2013 Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles
Champion and former World Number 7, who will provide viewers with her insights amidst the action. Paula Malai Ali,
a familiar face on FOX Sports, will also be reporting on-site, to not only provide exclusive interviews, but also give an
up-close perspective of what makes the Australian Open such a unique grand slam.
