SINGAPORE, MARCH 11, 2016 – Winter is coming to Singapore this April. 17 year old British actor Isaac Hempstead Wright, best known for his role as Bran Stark in HBO’s GAME OF THRONES series, will be in Singapore to publicize the season premiere of the series’ wildly anticipated sixth season.In Asia for the very first time, Isaac will make his appearance to fans this April 2, at HBO Asia’s “The Game of Thrones Experience: Worlds of Westeros” event (#GOTAsiaWOW) in ION Orchard.
Details of Isaac’s appearance at the event will be broadcast on HBO Asia’s social media platforms. Join the conversation using hashtags, #GOTAsiaWOW and #BranStarkInSG. Fans who want their pictures taken with Isaac at the event should follow HBO Asia on Facebook for updates, or participate in StarHub’s contest which concurrently offers the chance for subscribers to meet Isaac at the same event.

The Game of Thrones: Ascend the Wall virtual reality experience
Available for the very first time in Asia at this event and powered by Oculus Rift, this 4D immersive entertainment experience will take users on a journey to the top of the 700-foot ice Wall in Westeros, where they find themselves in a virtual version of the Castle Black winch elevator, with everything looking, sounding and feeling extremely real.

Game of Thrones: Ascend the Wall was developed by HBO in cooperation with its experiential agency, Relevent. Powered by Oculus Rift, this experience combines the latest in interactive technology and computer graphics generated by Framestore, the Academy Award® winning imaging company for Best Visual Effects for its work on the blockbuster, Gravity.
An unprecedented immersive entertainment experience that takes fans into the show and on a journey to the top of the Wall, visitors step into a physical recreation of the Castle Black winch elevator where they don the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset and a pair of headphones. From that moment on, they are transported into Westeros and find themselves inside a virtual version of the same elevator – everything looks, sounds and feels extremely real.
The elevator starts to go up, taking our rider on a journey 700 feet up to the top of the Wall. Along the way, 4D elements create the sensation of wind whipping their hair and the elevator rattling underfoot, adding to the realism. At the top, they can look out across all of the Seven Kingdoms and walk across to the other side for a breath-taking view of the land beyond the Wall.

Promotions and a New Addition
HONG KONG (March 10, 2016) – Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment, announced today enhancements to its sales team with the appointment of Annie Lim and the promotions of Andy Chang and Annie Chan. Andy Chang is now Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, Marketing and Original Productions, while Annie Chan is promoted to Executive Director, Affiliate Sales. Annie Lim joins CTE as Executive Director, Affiliate Sales.
Annie Lim joins CTE with a strong sales track record in the media entertainment industry. She brings extensive regional distribution and sales experience to CTE from her prior roles with NBCUniversal International Networks and IMG Media. At CTE, Lim will drive the distribution of the company’s expanding portfolio of branded linear and non-linear Asian entertainment services, including the recently launched Miao Mi, an Asian preschool kids channel, KIX 360 and Thrill 360 linear over-the-top (OTT) services, as well as Celestial Movies, cHK, Celestial Classic Movies, KIX HD and Thrill.
In addition to overseeing corporate communications, trade, affiliate and consumer marketing for CTE, Andy Chang will now be responsible for driving advertising sales for CTE channels across the region and assembling sponsored original productions. Chang joined Celestial Pictures in 2010, prior to the formation of CTE, from Sony Pictures Entertainment. Under Chang's leadership, CTE’s channels have grown in brand awareness and ratings. Chang was also responsible for the PromaxBDA Global Excellence award-winning launch campaign of cHK, CTE’s Hong Kong entertainment channel. In addition, Chang created CTE’s first sponsored original production for its channel KIX called “R U Tough Enough?” This search for the toughest individual in a country has expanded from Malaysia to the Philippines and will launch in Thailand in 2016.
Annie Chan is promoted to Executive Director, Affiliate Sales and will continue to drive channel distribution and oversee affiliate relations with platform partners in Asia/Pacific. Chan played a key role in the launch of Miao Mi. She was also responsible for the tremendous growth of CTE’s channels in Indonesia. Prior to CTE, Chan was the Director of Business Development at Celestial Pictures, where she managed corporate finance and business development since her start at the company in 2004.

ZEE’s APAC Territory to launch a new division – ‘ATL Media APAC’
A Media Sales House for the APAC region
Singapore / Mumbai, India; 08 March 2016: The APAC region of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) today announced the launch of ‘ATL Media APAC’, a new division that will represent varied Indian and South Asian Media businesses in the region for Advertising Sales. ‘ATL Media APAC’ will work with both mainstream and retail clients targeting the South Asian population in the key markets across the region. A similar model is currently operational in the MENAP region where ZEE has tied up with several channels including Geo TV, Imagine Movies, Cartoon Network apart from its own portfolio of ZEE channels.
Commenting on this new division, Mr. Amit Goenka, CEO, International Broadcast Business, ZEEL said, “Our APAC business is on a fast track and ATL Media APAC will help us to consolidate and add new clients into the segment. We believe this initiative will be beneficial in helping us grow the overall Ad Sales pie for the South Asia channels.”
Revealing further details on ATL Media APAC, Mr. Sushruta Samanta, Business Head – APAC said, “The new unit will be led by Ms Deepali Gupta, Revenue Head, ATL Media APAC, who has more than 13 years of experience in advertising sales across media in India and APAC markets. ZEE’s APAC’s region currently distributes eleven South Asian channels in the region targeting the diaspora population, apart from five localized channels for the local mainstream viewers. ZEE has an existing sales network across key APAC markets including Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney & Jakarta.
Ms. Deepali Gupta, who is based out of ZEE’s Singapore office added, “The decision to launch this new division stems from the need to address the growing market fragmentation in the ethnic media space. The new service is a one stop shop for all media solutions which will help clients achieve significant results for their marketing campaigns and at best prices. We have already initiated discussions with other leading networks across media to represent them”.

ZEE’s APAC Territory to launch a new division – ‘ATL Media APAC’

Singapore 08 March 2016: The APAC region of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) today announced the launch of ‘ATL Media APAC’, a new division that will represent varied Indian and South Asian Media businesses in the region for Advertising Sales. ‘ATL Media APAC’ will work with both mainstream and retail clients targeting the South Asian population in the key markets across the region. A similar model is currently operational in the MENAP region where ZEE has tied up with several channels including Geo TV, Imagine Movies, Cartoon Network apart from its own portfolio of ZEE channels.
Commenting on this new division, Mr. Amit Goenka, CEO, International Broadcast Business, ZEEL said, “Our APAC business is on a fast track and ATL Media APAC will help us to consolidate and add new clients into the segment. We believe this initiative will be beneficial in helping us grow the overall Ad Sales pie for the South Asia channels.”
Revealing further details on ATL Media APAC, Mr. Sushruta Samanta, Business Head – APAC said, “The new unit will be led by Ms Deepali Gupta, Revenue Head, ATL Media APAC, who has more than 13 years of experience in advertising sales across media in India and APAC markets. I strongly believe that Deepali, whose new role is effective immediately, is the ideal candidate to lead this new division”.
ZEE’s APAC’s region currently distributes eleven South Asian channels in the region targeting the diaspora population, apart from five localized channels for the local mainstream viewers. ZEE has an existing sales network across key APAC markets including Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney & Jakarta.
Ms. Deepali Gupta, who is based out of ZEE’s Singapore office added, “The decision to launch this new division stems from the need to address the growing market fragmentation in the ethnic media space. The new service is a one stop shop for all media solutions which will help clients achieve significant results for their marketing campaigns and at best prices. We have already initiated discussions with other leading networks across media to represent them”.
ATL Media APAC will represent media businesses including TV, Radio, Print and Digital in the region.
