Through this agreement, NBCU will provide more than a hundred world-class movies and drama series to LeEco. Some of the available blockbuster films include “Fifty Shades of Grey”, the film adaptation of the bestselling book that has become a global phenomenon; “Minions”, the prequel to the unprecedented animated worldwide hits, “Despicable Me” and “Despicable Me 2”; “Ted 2”, a well-known American comedy; the science fiction adventure film, “Jurassic World”, which is the fourth installment of the “Jurassic” franchise; and “Everest”, the adventure thriller which was inspired by incredible actual events, are now available to enjoy through TVOD (transactional video on demand).
In April, films such as “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, “Jurassic Park”, “Lost World: Jurassic Park”, “Gladiator”, etc., in addition to several famous dramas series including “Downtown Abbey” (Seasons 1 & 2), “Chicago Fire” (Season 1) and “House”, will launch in through SVOD (subscription video on demand).
