Philippines’ No. 1 kids channel will be available to Globe customers through the Cartoon Network Watch and Play and Cartoon Network Anything apps
MANILA, July 14, 2016 – Turner Asia Pacific and Globe Telecom, the Philippines’ No. 1 mobile brand, have announced that two upgraded Cartoon Network apps will soon be made available to Globe customers.
An authenticated version of the Cartoon Network Watch and Play app unlocks its full functionality, including a live stream of the channel and additional video-on-demand content. Cartoon Network Anything will also be bundled, showcasing the network’s best short-form content on mobile devices.

Cartoon Network Watch and Play allows users to simultaneously watch a video from their favorite animation TV series and play a game from Cartoon Network’s website. With a simple rotation of the iPad, kids can switch between the tasks – providing a completely new type of app functionality for this latest generation of multi-taskers. Globe customers will also be able to access an enhanced version of the app which allows for live-streaming of the channel and access to additional content including full episodes.
Cartoon Network Anything is an app that contains content created for portable mobile platforms, rapidly delivering entertainment in a unique and fun way – an innovation that’s never been seen before in Southeast Asia. Cartoon Network Anything is an ever-growing and ever-changing stream of content consisting of games, activities, super-fast trivia quizzes and interactive video games, all approximately 15 seconds in length.
